Sunday drop in
I'll admit it, I'm a planner. I've always planned my life about a week or two in advance and that's the way I like it! My family is the same way. Keri? Not so much. He can change his mind on a whim and isn't bothered by going out of town last minute or having unexpected company. I think he gets this trait from his family. I've learned that there can be much fun if I can let go and go with the flow! So when Keri's parents called Sunday after church and said they wanted to come over for a while I was so pleased. Saturday and Sunday can be lonely days since Keri is gone all day and all are friends are having quality family time. What a sweet surprise to have Jack and Dianna drive over and spend a few hours here. They gave the kids some much needed undivided attention. Dianna played the Fancy Nancy board game with Addie and read to her while Jack and Doak played cars for about 45 minutes straight. I know the kids rarely get my attention for that long so they ate it up! We also enjoyed dinner out with Nanna and Pop Pop and the kids got a signature Nanna bath, baby powder included!

How fun! What a nice surprise. Wish I had in-laws like that :)
I understand what you mean about lonely Sunday afternoons:)
Love the pic of Addie and the glasses...she's precious!!!
SO with you on lonely weekends! and undivided attention...i've been feeling really spread to thin this week, and i've been so guilty! glad i'm not the only one who struggles with it.
That would be great!! We are going to have to plan a "surprise" Sunday afternoon together - maybe meeting halfway to hang out!
