the perfect day
Friday Keri was given one last day off before football season starts. His bible study teacher had offered the use of his boat to Keri all summer long so we finally took him up on it! The kids were so excited to be out on the water. We zoomed all around the lake, sang along with the radio, enjoyed some quiet time in the boat, swam, had a picnic lunch in the boat, and ended the day with a trip to the Harbor. The Harbor is an outdoor shopping/dining area right on the lake. They have slips so we parked the boat and had some ice cream to finish off the day. The kids and I went home and took naps while Keri picked up some friends and stayed on the lake until 6pm. He loves the lake!

What a wonderful time - I so love the lake and going out on the boat too - when I was a kid that is where we lived every weekend!!
