hawk scrimmage

This week's scrimmage was Thursday night against Dallas Skyline. It was our first taste of what football season will hold for us this year. The Hawks looked great and Keri was pleased, but they didn't keep score so I had no clue what was going on! Good thing I wasn't too tied into the game because the kids, well Doak mostly, kept me on my toes. It's going to be interesting to keep them occupied and sitting down during games.

I don't know how you do it, Natalie! I'm figuring we won't be making very many of Seth's games this year because the thought of spending the whole time chasing after a toddler (who should be in bed anyway) does NOT sound like fun to me! :-)

I know it is a whole new experience when they can go from sitting into your lap to moving around. Not always easier!! :) Suckers are the only way I can get the girls to sit still too - I need to find some sugar free ones so I don't feel so bad about the number they get! :) I love love Addie's Hawk Bling shirt - so very cute!!

the best piece of medicine to keep them still and occupied is food!! Food and drinks always helped mine. Cute shirt! where did you get it?

A-Yes, I think Jason works there too. I tried to get a hold of him, but I'm guessing he wasn't planning to go the scrimmage!
E-I don't have the option of not going so I just have to make it work. I mean I could stay home but it means SO much to Keri for us to be there, so we just go and hope for the best!
V-Ooh, sugar free suckers are a good idea. I'd like to find some without high fructose corn syrup.
J-Oh yes, food! Let's see, we ate at Taco Bueno right before the game and they were stuffed for sure. Then at the game they had a fruit roll up, a sucker, lots of goldfish and gum! I'm sure they felt sick that night!

Oh, I wanted to make sure I said that I meant my comment much more as "you are my IDOL!" than anything else! I think it's awesome that you guys can make it work so well! Something tells me there are probably plenty of Hawk fans there who are happy to lend a hand, too!
