I was going to try and stop my monthly blog about this sweet boy, but I realize now that this is my
only record of what he is currently doing and I have to keep it up at least every other month!

Doak started walking right at 13 months and the world has totally changed for him.
He is all over the place and loving his new independence.

Doak loves to play outside-he'd stay out all day if he could. His new favorite thing to do is play in the driveway (supervised of course). He loves the challenge of walking up the slope!
I think Doak's favorite toy is a ball. He loves to sit on the couch and throw a ball to me over and over while saying "throw". He's so proud of himself!
This kid is obsessed with airplanes.
I bet 50 times a day he does the sign for airplane and makes a sound to let me know what he hears. He also loves birds and searches the sky for them while in the car or outside.
Doak is learning new words and signs every day. Signs he uses with us are:

Every few days he and Addie get to watch a Baby Signing

Times DVD and he LOVES watching the kids signing.
Sleep has been rare for the past week or so due to a new molar pushing through (tooth #10). Also I found out today that he has an ear infection. No wonder he's been fussy and up at night!
Doak weighs 25 lbs, 10 oz and is a solid chunk of boy! He loves to eat most anything. He is not a fan of milk at all and I'm pretty sure he's lactose intolerant so I've stopped trying to force it. Good thing he loves yogurt and cheese.
Doak continues to love playing with Addie, Daddy, and Mommy. We love our sweet big boy!

I can't believe how big he is getting. My girls are the same way about the milk too - I put it out for them - but it is barely touched -I think it any of it is gone - it was by accident! :) Luckily they like yogert - but I have to make it seem like it is a dessert to get them to eat it too!! :)

What a sweetheart! I can't believe he's so big - almost weighs the same as Mark, and he's 20 months! And, by the way, happy belated b-day!
