First off I have to say a big thank you to my wonderful mother in law. She called me on Valentine's Day and asked if she could come over and keep A & D and send Keri and me out to dinner. Of course we said yes! Addie was beyond thrilled that Nanna was coming over and started watching for her car out the window at about 1pm! Addie and Nanna had a fun time together and Doak enjoyed some bonding time too although he was a little sad to see us go! Keri and I had a nice, quiet dinner and enjoyed carrying on a conversation that wasn't peppered with "sit down", "have another bite of carrots", or "there's some spit up on your shoulder". We love our kids, but we also love spending time just the two of us.

Today we got to spend time with Keri's dad. He's been working with Force Protection in Iraq for about 3 years and we've only seen him one time in those three years-it was Christmas 05 when Addie was only 6 months old. We had a great morning seeing Delbert and Addie really warmed up to him quickly! We loved showing off our little Doak too!

trying on Grandad's glassesplaying games to make Doak smileWe had to bring in Doak's carseat to move the straps up, in about a month he's going to have to be in a convertible seat. He's 25 1/8 inches long and the seat's max length is 26 inches!

Tonight we played one of Addie's favorite games-chasing Kylie around until she runs circles through the house and herds us! Kylie loves it too! It's the most exercise she gets all week! Tonight Doak was laughing out loud-what a cutie! His smile and laugh are so precious.
