trunk or treat and 34/35 weeks

This week our church hosted a Trunk or Treat. Addie went dressed as a cheerleader (not very creative, I know, but she loved it!) and had a great time. I think she was mostly in it for the candy! Keri had a JV game so we went with Mrs. Ashley and Rylan (Cody had a JV game too).

I had my 34/35 week appointment today. Nothing too exciting, just the regular blood pressure, weight check, doppler, etc. I did find out I'm measuring 37 weeks! No wonder I feel so huge! I also found out that since I was strep B positive with Addie I will have to be treated for step B when I go into labor with Doak. I just have to have a dose of antibiotics in my IV to prevent any infection in Doak. Keri and I also toured labor and delivery and I feel really good about Baylor Garland now! They are pro-breastfeeding, pro-rooming in, and seem very respectful of parent's wishes. Thank you Lord, cross those worries off my list! We plan to keep Doak in the room with us at all times unless he has to leave and the nurse even said that the pediatrician usually does exams at bedside with Mom and Dad present. When we had Addie we had to send her to the nursery for a few hours for her pediatrician check and I didn't like her being away from us! I feel like all our prayers are being answered-our OB is amazing and I have full confidence in him, the hospital seems like a great place for us. Now all we need is a baby! In other pregnancy related ramblings. . .I can't keep my pants from falling down! I think Doak is lower than Addie ever was and my pants just slide right down my belly! Any suggestions? Mom suggested suspenders, but I don't think I can go that far!
how low can he go???

I had the same problem with Beclynn and I can't help you on the jeans - but I found some drawstring pants and tied them really tight - that seemed to work the best. You look great - get some sleep, it will be here before you know it!!

i think you still look beautiful, falling down pants or not! i wish i had some helpful advice but of course i don't so hopefully there will be some other helpful words besides suspenders, that would be too funny!

Oops double post...

I tried to come up with a MacGyver-like solution but ended up with this instead:

Love those jeans! Even if they do have trouble staying up! You could go get some ALL THE WAY OVER THE BELLY STRETCH jeans...that might work.

And I've heard good things about Baylor Garland.

I had that same problem and I did try the over the belly jeans. The ones I had didn't even stay up after a while. I was constantly pulling at my shirt. It's just one of those things. You look adorable! I'm so glad you feel so comfortable about your new doctor and hospital! That is a huge deal!
