Memorial Day at the beach

Our wonderful friends the Hubers invited us to join them at a friend's beach house this weekend. Of course we said yes and started counting down the days!




We arrived Saturday mid morning and the fun began! Here's the view from the beach house balcony.




Keri and I celebrated our 11th anniversary on Saturday and couldn't think of a better place to be than the beach with friends!




Watching Addie and Haley play in the waves made my heart so happy.




And Doak and Harrison were so content to dig and play in the sand.




These pictures were taken after dinner when we went to 'walk on the beach'. Someone missed the memo and got soaking wet!




Jenn is one of those friends that is once in a lifetime. So easy to be with, so real, so fun, and such an encouragement! What a blessing to spend a few days with her!




The beach house we stayed in is on the far right. Jenn, Keri, and Matt can also be seen playing a game of catch on the sand.




Spending two days with these friends was so good for the soul! Now it's back to reality and packing up this house. We were able to move our closing date up to Monday June 1 which gives us only 7 days to pack up! It's a job we can totally handle. In just over a week we will be homeowners. Can't wait!
