Cookie's week

Since Mom retired in May we've had lots of fun family times together. She's also traveled to Tennessee to help after Jeff and Ami's newest baby Hallie was born. She's visited her family in Oklahoma and even vacationed in Colorado. Once she was home from all her travels I put in a request for a special trip to our house. While we see Mom and Dad pretty often, it's almost always for a quick weekend trip. Cookie agreed to come stay with us for a whole week! It was heaven!

Having Mom here was super helpful. I got all the tubs of boy clothes out of the attic and organized them, switched closets to winter clothes, crafted, shopped, and enjoyed the company of my sweet Mom.



Papa was here for the bookend weekends and during those weekends the kids played playdough with Papa



P & C took the 3 kids to the Pumpkin Patch







They did apple taste testing (honeycrisp won)



And the kids helped make a delicious apple pie!



Thanks Mom and Dad for loving us, and for giving up a week to come hang out. We have the best memories of our week together.
