Brock loves to sit in his Bumbo seat and chew on a toy or watch the big kids play.
He's happy in the swing, in fact he's almost always happy!
He loves his Mommy! And I love him so!
He's finally noticed Kylie and she now provides lots of entertainment for our little one.
Brock's looks are changing too. He no longer has that newborn look-his features are more defined. He has his brother's long, dark eye lashes. He has deep blue eyes and the darkest eyebrows. I think he's such a handsome little guy!
If Brock is awake and playing he most likely has a finger (or two) in his mouth. I think some teeth may be popping through in the next month or so!
In last month's blog I shared that Brock was still sleeping swaddled. We finally gave that up. No swaddle created a bit of a problem because he still wanted that snuggled, tight feeling to go to sleep. For a week or two I had to wear him in a sling to get him to sleep! I decided about 3 weeks ago that it was time to teach our little man to go to sleep on his own. So one night we decided to let him cry it out. He fussed a little when I put him down awake and he fussed off an on for about 20 minutes. We would go in every 5 minutes to pat him and replace the pacifier. He never even got to the point of crying hard before he fell asleep, which I'm so thankful for! Day 2 of sleeping boot camp he would fuss for maybe 5 minutes before he fell asleep. Now we can lay him down with his blankie and pacifier and he happily goes to sleep. What an easy baby!
Here's our big boy, napping the afternoon away.
We love you sweet Brock!
