Sunni tagged me weeks ago, I'm finally getting around to it!
The Rules:
The Rules:
1. I have to post these rules before I give you the facts.
2. Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
3. People who are tagged need to write their own blog (about their eight things) and post these rules.
4. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
5. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.
8 Random facts about me:
1. I'm addicted to Coke. I've cut it out tons of times, but I keep coming back to it! I'm so addicted in fact that recently when Mom and Addie made a Sonic run Addie said, "one large coke please!" Oops!
2. I'm OCD about being clean. My hands have to be clean at all times. If they even feel slightly dirty I have to wash them. I keep antibacterial gel and wipes in my bag at all times for emergency situations!
3. I get big time highs from good deals. When I leave the grocery store I can't wait to come home and show Keri how much I saved by buying things on sale, using coupons, etc. My newest obsession is CVS. They have awesome deals each week. This week I got pullups (normally $11) on sale for $8.50. I had a coupon for $3 off plus another coupon for a free package of wipes ($4) with the purchase of pull ups. So I got $15 worth of stuff for $5.50 woo hoo!
4. I love to take baths. I take one every night (and have been known to take more than one a day!) This is where I do most of my reading, so if you ever loan me a book expect some water spots!
5. I love watching HGTV and TLC's shows about home decorating, house flipping, etc. When I walk through our neighborhood in my mind I'm thinking, "oh, they need to paint their door black and add some mulch to their flowerbeds". I can pick out what I would change about any house, but somehow I can't get our house to feel homey. Hmm
6. I drink lots of water. I don't like to drink out of open cups. Every morning I make a big cup of ice water in a Quik Trip cup with a lid and a straw. Something about seeing how much is left inside (through the clear cup) and drinking out of a straw makes me drink way more than I would if I drank from a bottle. I do take a bottle of water to bed each night though. I just cleaned 8 empty and half drank bottles off my nightstand!!!!!!!!!!
7. When I hear a new song I try to figure out the correct lyrics and just make up the words I can't figure out. (it's not necessary to me that the lyrics make sense) Last year on a road trip Keri spent the entire drive teaching me the right words to a Shane and Shane CD. It was amazing-his version of the lyrics actually made sense and some of them were even direct quotes to scripture!
8. I hate debt. Even in high school and college, I never wanted a credit card. The thought of having a credit card stressed me out. Keri and I took a class called Financial Peace University at our old church in Carrollton and learned so much about how to dump debt, build wealth, and be a good steward of what God blesses us with. We're hoping, praying, and planning that Addie and Doak won't have the words 'debt', 'student loan', 'car loan' in their vocabulary when they leave home for the real world.
That was fun!

ah, you are one-of-a-kind and i love you!
I really need you to teach me the ways of coupons. I'm so awful at saving money for groceries.
Loved your randomness - it was so much fun to read! I totally agree with you on the water thing...I'm not a fan of drinking water from open cups either!
I always have half empty/full water bottles on my nightstand too! It drives Ryan crazy. Thanks for all the random insight today!!
I'm totally with you on looking for deals to save money. If you didn't know already Walmart will match prices of other ads. So you can do all of your shopping in one place. I saved about $17 on last weeks groceries.
