Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter weekend. Our service at Bent Tree was amazing as usual. There were so many people there too! We sat with two other couples from our life group - there were 6 of us (and a baby) and we shared 5 chairs! It was a bonding experience. After the service I volunteered in the 4 year old room and Keri served as a greeter. I had major kindergarten flashbacks, except this group only had 6 kids! It was heavenly!

We got Addie a few Easter gifts. She loves Boz videos and so do we. So we got her a stuffed Boz, a CD of Boz tunes, and a Boz book. Boz overload, but she loves them all!

After church we headed up to see our Little Elm friends, Chris, Val, and Maelynn and had a fabulous home cooked dinner! Val was my first friend in Little Elm-we met at the post office the summer we moved to LE. I had Addie in the baby bjorn and Val started talking to me about her daughter who was just a few months older than Addie. In the course of our conversation we realized that we had both just moved to LE, we both knew no one and both of our husbands are football coaches! It was definitely a God planned meeting and we've been friends ever since! Thanks again Val for having us over! After we got back from LE Addie and I took a nap (yeah for naps) and then Keri hid eggs for Addie inside the apartment since it was FREEZING outside! She really wasn't into finding the eggs-she picked up 3 or 4 and then moved on to something else!

All in all we had a blessed weekend. We've been really mindful of the sacrifice Christ made and Keri and I are both striving to remember that sacrifice daily instead of just once or twice a year.

Addie's dress is precious! I didn't get it through my thick skull that I would need to go buy Ava a sweater, so at the last minute she couldn't wear her Easter dress! Tragedy!

I'm still learning and don't know how to email from comments--I know there's a way to do it! But yes, he works at the HS and at the church. 2 jobs!
